Sets

Most people would never realize what goes into a musical of any caliber.  The memorization of lines is only a small part of all the activities that go on.  The dancing, singing, and building of sets all play their vital part.   Sets are probably one of the more important elements in a production of any kind or size.
Hollywood alone spends millions of dollars and a plethora of time per movie on sets.  Sets are able to put together a mood or a feeling otherwise impossible to create with words and acting alone.  Who are the wizards who put theses sets together?  Several people are involved, from students at all grade levels to their parents.
Painting is one of the many tasks accomplished by the set shop team.   Carpentry work, painting, and putting on siding all involve much planning and dedicated workers with the knowledge to put together all types of materials.
Overall, set shop and the construction of the sets is quite the experience for people who like to build things and work with their hands.  They did an outstanding job and deserve as much of the praise as the cast members did.
